Our Materials
OUR MATERIALS
Materials shape how an object feels, ages and belongs in a room. HIMOOD ATELIER focuses on tactile surfaces, quiet color and considered material choices—elements that reveal themselves slowly rather than asking for immediate attention.
ALCOHOL-FREE DIFFUSION
Our diffuser collection is designed around alcohol-free fragrance bases for a gradual, understated scent presence. The vessels combine smoked glass, natural wood details and simple reed systems intended to sit comfortably within contemporary interiors.
Scent strength and diffusion time vary according to room size, temperature, airflow, sunlight and the number of reeds used. Always place fragrance vessels on a protected, stable surface.
WOOD
We are drawn to wood for its natural variation and ability to hold depth. Layered veneers, contrasting tones and visible grain allow each plane to contribute to the finished composition.
Small differences in color, grain and surface character are part of the material rather than defects. Wood objects should be kept away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture and abrasive cleaning products.
RECYCLED FIBER
Our recycled-fiber objects explore how recovered paper fibers, mineral pigments and plant-based binders can be shaped into lightweight sculptural forms.
Subtle fibers, tool marks and tonal variation remain visible in the finished surface. These pieces are intended for dry decorative use and should not be treated like ceramic, stone or waterproof containers.
A QUIETER STANDARD
We look for four qualities across the collection:
• Materials with visible character
• Forms that remain useful and visually calm
• Finishes that complement natural interiors
• Packaging and construction choices that avoid unnecessary excess
CARE & LONGEVITY
Thoughtful care helps objects retain their character. Refer to each product page for material-specific instructions. When in doubt, use a soft dry cloth, avoid harsh cleaners and keep objects away from standing water and extreme heat.
TEST STOREFRONT NOTICE
This page is part of a test storefront. Product materials, dimensions, performance claims and care requirements must be confirmed with the relevant supplier before commercial sale.
